No, not at all. In my opinion you probally feel sorry for them, but it also makes you feel like you never want to let yourself get that way. Its good, learning from others mistakes.

As a person who is overweight and has been dealing with this issue for a very long time, I can empathize with the other overweight person. It neither discourages nor motivates me to lose the weight. I just know what it feels like to keep tring and never succeeding. Remember, you will never know what it is like until you walk a mile the other persons shoes!

I was a bodybuilder for YEARS and was as big as hell. How that I am getting older, I am choosing to lose all that weight because it will be a LOT better on my older joints and heart. I am planning to go from 265 down to maybe 200. It is going to be hard on my ego to not be the biggest on the block anymore.. but I want to be healthy now and be able to play with my kids.
Fat people are just taking sooo much of the pleasure out of life. Walking, shopping, running, squatting, sleeping, SEX.. all are better without the fat.
Most of what I want to lose is muscle, but I do have a bit of a spare tire now in my older age, and I can sure feel the drain that puts on my energy.

It is not wrong! I don't feel sorry for them its pure laziness! I am no longer overweight but was last year at this time! Now when I do my regular exercising walking, i see alot of obese people driving by in suv's and it makes me walk faster! When I do my step aeorbics I usually watch celebrity fit club and all them obese lazy things motivate to go longer and faster :)

It certainly keeps me motivated to stay trim. My dating life has been gutted by the lack of available, desireable women who are a match for me...that means someone who takes care of herself and is not obese. Very difficult to find around here.

No. Their situation has nothing to do with mine, however it would motivate me to do more because you don't want your overweight to turn into obesity.

My living a healthy stressful life, is motivation enough for me. Just because, someone else maybe obese I try to understand, that it may not entirely be their fault. I try best not to judge someone else. Only God can Judge.
Have a good day.

No, I think its natural. It motivates me as well. I hope that I don't look like them and then think I don't want to look like them so it motivates me... for about 5 mins.. LOL uggghh!! I think I need more motivation than that unfortunately.

No, it's not wrong to be motivated by them.
I see them and feel bad for their struggle, it's not an easy path.

I think it would motivate anyone who sees themselves from years to come unless they do something about it
