Anyone as long as the liberals are restrained and political correctness isn't the issue, but rather winning.
Also, the above person is referring to a friendly fire incident, by which people who hate Israel blame them 40 years later, and bring it up out of thin air even though it's off topic and doesn't really have to do with the question.
I assure you that with a strong, sensible president, we are undefeatable, but with another Slick Clinton in there, we'll be in peril, as they crippled our military during their first regime.
Most Democrats will want to negotiate with terrorists and will want ot fight nonsensical issues such as "global warming," instead. They and their followers will be against any form of preemptive strike when necessary, because they would rather that people be burned to a crisp before any action is taken.

I have done many research papers on this subject for college classes and the one thing that really stands out is that China has a limited Naval force when compared to the U.S. They may have the largest army but they could only use them in a limited geographical area because of their limits on amphibious landing capability. They currently have very small and limited capability in the amphibious fleet and could transport a fair complement of ground troops but would not be able to sustain them very long and could not deploy them very far ( i.e.Western Pacific) Controlling(destroying) the PLA amphibious capability in a conflict would be high on the target priority list for the U.S. in order to keep them confined. And of course, they have no carrier capabilty which would be crucial in this situation.

Perhaps no single country is dangerous but an alliance of several could be formidable. Google "Iran China Russia alliance". Then check "countries military size"
I don't think we'll be speaking any language at all when it's over.

If we stood still today with no further development, it would take any country more than twenty years to develope a military that could match us. It'll never happen. Big difference between the US and Rome for those who want to kick that dead horse.

If anyone it would be China, they have a firm grip of your economy, nukes and enough canon foddlers to go around.
This will never happen but would be a scary war if it did.

Currently none. There are countries that could impede us overseas, but none that could really launch an invasion into the US currently. Not with our Navy.
