My friend drank to much alcohol, and has been throwing up. Some one told me to feed her solid foods like breads and stuff to calm it down. I did all that, its now the next morning and she is still throwing up whatever she eats...what should I do, or give her?

If she is still throwing up and its been a day it is probably not from drinking. I would call the doctor and see what they say. They may have an idea or they may tell her to come in. They could even tell her to go to the emergency room. In the mean time STOP DRINKING. No good really ever comes out of it!

Nothing, except tell her to not drink so much next time. The alcohol just needs time to pass through her system. Food, coffee.. none of this will actually speed it up.

Give her LOTS of water to fight the dehydration and some Advil for the headache. If she is hungry give her bland foods that are easy to digest light saltine crackers.

That's it.

I have researched this. She is throwing up because she is dehydrated, and, do not give her water, because water flushes out your electrolytes, which is bad, and she will just feel worse. Gatorade, 7-up, things like that really help. Also, nibble on some Saltine crackers, and I do mean nibble, not bites. Believe me, in my past, I have been there MANY times, and I researched this on the internet, and I also have friends who's parents are doctors, and I know this helps.

She will be ok, just make sure she drinks plenty of water and if she can eat something plain like toast and keep it down for a while that should help.
She should feel alot better in the morning.

if she has been throwing up for more 12-24 hours, go to a doctor. she might have alcohol poisoning. she should drink water to prevent her from dehydration. again, if she doesn't get better, go see a doctor.

Definitely give her bread, gatorade, water...let her keep throwing up to get it out of her system. If she continues throwing up into the afternoon she may have to go to the doctor. But from personal experience, sometimes you just gotta puke it all out.

take her to the emergency room. you don't know what else she may have had (pills, etc.) or what else may be affecting her (food poisoning, electrolyte imbalance). A good friend will expect you to let the experts take over - you've done enough and it's serious.

The biggest issue here is to get fluids in her because she can get dehydrated here. Water works. Hopefully she doesn't do that again.
