Those are all good. Although librarian might be rough because librarians have to deal with people who come into the library. Any job in which the person doesn't have to deal with many people on a day-to-day basis. Maybe a night job. Perhaps a working from home type job would also be appropriate.

Librarians need to deal with people so that's out. An author/poet is not exactly a job unless you are a popular published author.

Start with realizing that most hurt comes from our own expectations. If we make a mistake in our judgment of another person and that person does something that falls outside our belief in them, we are reacting to the shortcoming. On the other hand if we had better judgment or had no expectations, we would probably not have been in the position of vulnerability and/or the effect would be minimal. Most people fail to keep their own identity separate from the social interactions of life. We often have a self image that is a reflection of what others think of us, and thus we lose confidence in ourselves when others do not treat us honorably. In fact what others think of us is peer esteem, not self esteem. What others do, say, think or feel toward us is much more a statement of who they are than who we are, and as such should not be allowed to inflict pain on ourselves. Self esteem in earned from yourself- it has nothing to do with anyone else unless you allow it, and that is something you should never do. You can forgive people for their shortcomings- but at the same time, you should learn and adjust your judgment and expectations of them. If you fail to do that, you will set yourself up for a second helping of the same treatment. "I can forgive and I can forget, but I'll be damned if I will forget what I forgave". You can forgive an offender, because when you do you put the incident behind you and your own life can go forward constructively. You remember so that you will not overextend your trust to such a person again. Everything we do is a statement of how we think and what we are capable of. If a person violates your trust once, you should know it is highly likely to happen again when the conditions are right. Regardless of what we say- what we do is who we are. Learn to use that as a way to read people's character, and your life will improve dramatically.

Apparently, in this country, anything from manager, to supervisor and all the way up to CEO of almost any major company.
Librarians have to be efficient and knowledgeable.
Authors need to be intelligent and have good memories for detail.
Poets must know the language they write in so well that they can make it sing to the ear of the soul.
The first group don't seem to need much more than blind ambition and tremendous greed.

Author, poet, auto mechanic, seamstress, gardener etc. Anything where they work alone or with just one or two people.
Maybe social skills classes would help the person.

You could be my dentist's receptionist. That seems to be a requirement there, or you could be President of the United States.
