Many rental centers are having this problem. People take back the CD or DVD case and turn it in, but, unlike our old VCR tapes which were quite obvious that the tape was not in the jacket, they miss the fact that the disk is not. Then the hunt begins... was it left in a drive? Did it slip down between the couch cushions (where the remote often goes)? Who else may have borrowed it and didn't return the disk due it is in one of their drives? Etc. etc. etc. Good hunting!
