strike you as some kind of double standard, and do really think God has a double standard among mankind or would His Law be universal? Isn't there something wrong with this?

Yes, it certainly is a double standard! Jews believe that all the righteous of the nations have a share in the world to come. Christians believe that non-believers are condemned to eternal torment.

Jews are bound by 613 commandments. Christians are bound by only the seven Noahide laws.

Jews believe everyone can receive forgiveness directly from God. Christians require an an intermediary. One can only get to the Father through "the son."

The messiah will not be divine and has nothing whatsoever to do with "salvation." The messiah will bring peace on "earth" for ALL mankind.

"...they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)

With all due respect, the double standard would be in Christianity. God gave the law to Moses. Jews follow the Torah. When Jesus, one of many prophets at the time, came along some people followed him. Jesus even said he did not come to change one word of Gods law but yet Christians do not follow the law of God saying instead that Jesus coming somehow relieved them of davening, tefillin, tzit-tzit etc.
Jews also consider the Jewish people to be unique in the world and have different responsibiliites than gentiles.
All said, there is no double standard on the part of Jews what so ever.
BTW, I am Jewish.

Somebody really needs to read the Bible. Jesus was a Jew, sent to Jews, for Jews. His entire story is a Jewish thing. Of course, it was the Jews that are to believe but most of them didn't, even though they had been reading prophecy about him, for centuries.

It was only after He rose from the dead, His sacrifice was given to all mankind. The gentiles refer to themselves as adopted children, although the reality is they are now equal, in God's eyes.

So where's the double standard? If you are gentile and not Jewish, you need to be grateful you can be included.

First, "Jesus" is an English translation of a Greek translation of a Hebrew name, and we don't even know what that Hebrew name was.

Jews believe in salvation through the Messiah.

Christians believe in Salvation through the Messiah, the man known as Jesus of Nazareth, the only begotten son of God, born of a Virgin, crucified on the cross who rose on the third day and ascended bodily into Heaven.

Even Muslims believe in Salvation through the Messiah.

Both groups believe in salvation through the Messiah. One group believes the Messiah has come, the other believes the Messiah has not yet come.

Muslims believe that Mohammad is the Messiah for everyone except the Jewish people. Jesus was the Messiah for the Jews only.

In reality it is the details, who the Messiah is, and not the basic concept of salvation through the Messiah which separates the different faiths who believe in the God of Abraham.

Jews are waiting for the arrival of the Messiah. If they were to believe in Jesus, then their whole religion falls apart. That's not going to happen. And while God's Law may be universal, humans tend to interpret things differently, depending on their culture and language among other things.

God blinded the Jew,s so the Gentiles could be brought in,but this will not keep them from Heaven as God will open their eyes.

Your question is strange. There are many religions in the world -- where does it say that God approves of them all?

The Jewish system of worship was destroyed utterly and totally in 70CE. Never has it been restored as God caused it to be restored after Jerusalem's destruction in the past by the Babylonians! Doesn't this send a message?

Christ himself said this to the Jews:
Matthew 23:38-39, Behold, you house shall be left to you, desolate. 39For I say to you, you shall not see me henceforth till you say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (DRC)
& Matt 15: 8, 9, This people honoureth me with their lips: but their heart is far from me. 9And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.
^^^^^^^^^
Thus there is only one way to be saved, and that is John 3:16-18

No other religious beliefs can save a person! None.

16For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. 17For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him. 18He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

They worship the Father who is God...they know him, love him and serve him and in doing so they know, love and serve his son. "The Father and I are one," In this way they are saved, provided, of course, they are good and loving people. My Jewish daughter-in-law believes that Christians worship three gods, but cannot see that it is only one...can you see that? If so, worshiping the Father is the same as worshiping the son. They will some day come to know the son, maybe not in this world.
