You have the right to defend yourself against that sort of tyranny.

I have never seen Christians stop people on the street and do this. You would think that people stop you 24 hours a day to preach.
I want to see statistics on how many times a day this happens.
No one can "force anything down your throat." Be a man, thank the person, and walk away.

You have the right to walk away and forcefully tell him no. You never have the right to attack though you can feel like it when anyone forces anything down your throat. I personally want to slap those people who want you to sign their petitions for things. They are as much if not more pushy than religious people. Some almost refuse to take no for an answer.
With religious people I usually take the pamphlet and then throw it away at the next trash can. That way they leave me alone.

Ive never seen a Christian try to use force in spreading the Gospel.
If you dont like freedom of religion, either become a shut-in or move to China.

If your walking down the street and someone says something to you just say no thank you and keep walking.
No one can FORCE their religion down your throat. You are being extreme.

Being verbally belligerent or physical aggressive is unnecessary. Throwing their pamphlet or magazine into the nearest gutter or trashcan right in front of them would be a good way to express your displeasure.

Verbally, yes. Physically, no. That would just be wrong-and as an atheist I know you understand that. :) Our morals are ingrained, not chanted from an ancient book with the fear of burning forever being the only thing staying our hands from mayhem and chaos.

If he tries to shove the bible down your throat literally, go for it. If he's just talking to you, walk away. If he follows you or gets aggressive, call the cops.

If you are so offended by Christians witnessing, why are you spending so much time here in this forum where Christians witness incessantly?
