Most decaffeinated coffee has had up to 95% of the caffeine removed. That means there is still some caffeine in it. Up to 15 mg. I would recommend drinking a half cafe and then moving to a decafe as stopping all caffeine can cause some pretty bad headaches from the caffeine withdrawl. You may be overly sensitive to caffeine. The one question I have is where are you getting your coffee? If you are brewing at home with any of the major brands (Foldgers, Maxwell House) there should be about 115 to 175 mg of cafeine per cup of coffee depending on how strong you make the coffee. If you are going out for coffee or brewing something like Starbucks at home the coffee can contian anywhere from 240mg for the tall (12oz) to 480 mg of cafeine for the venti (20oz). Anyway you cut it that is a lot of cafeine. I can't drink straight coffee from Starbucks. It makes me jittery and sick. If you really like your Starbucks you can get in half cafe too.

just a little bit. A decaffeinated coffee must contain less than 1% caffeine of a regular coffee.

Umm, this may sound like "stating the bloody obvious" but....
what do you think the word "DECAF" mean?

It should be rather easy to work out.

Cheers - from the (usual sarcastic - sorry) land down under.

No but it may have other things that are not good for your stomach.
