Saturday is the Sabbath day. It is the Seventh-day of the week. The Sabbath is from sundown Friday until Sundown Saturday. The Sabbath was given to all mankind by God. This is crystal clear by the Ten commandments.
Jesus says "if you love me keep my Commandments".

This is like asking what flavor vanilla ice cream is.
So here's something to bend your mind:
If you are in Israel, and travel west to the U.S. the sabbath would begin 10 hours after it begins in Israel, seeing as the sun sets 10 hours later.
But if you travel east from Israel, the sun sets about 1 hour earlier for every thousand miles you travel, so the sabbath would begin for you 14 hours earlier than it does in Israel. This brings you to Thursday sunset, with your sabbath being what we call Friday.
So for one who goes east to the U.S. from Israel, paying attention to the setting of the sun to determine when their days begin and end, for this person the sabbath is Friday.

It depends on your belief. All the bible says is that God rested on the 7th day & to keep it holy. Since there wasn't a calender then, it really doesn't matter on the day. As long as you observe a day and keep it holy.

Best ask yourself that question, because man makes up his own day. Just read the Bible and you will find the answers.
Anyway, every day is Gods day.
