My ex dumped me about 7 months ago, ever since we have been on and off with each other, we always used to have arguments through emails, and i sent one the other day in reply to what he sent to me, i admit its all a bit pathetic fighting for no paticular reason but anyway i felt bad after my email so i sent one saying look im sorry if i upset you because im just upset at the moment(for personal reasons) and anyway he replied saying ''no problem (then he started asking about the personal reasons) after that he said so how did you know i have a new car?'' Does the fact hes asking me questions mean he wants to speak to me? I don't like him in the way i did but i want to just be able to speak to him like normal!

I think if he is making an effort to ask you questions and make conversation with you then it sounds to me like he is still into you and trying to get back on speaking terms and on your good side, because if he was not interested in you then he would not care if he spoke to you or not unless he just wants to be friends and keep things civil. You know him better than anyone and what sort of guy he is so i think deep down you know the answer.

Only way you will get over this kind of break up is to leave each other completely alone. Whilst the emotion is still there it will just keep on surfacing in pointless arguements.

wow that sounds just like how i was with my ex =S lol
yes i'd say it probably does mean he wants to talk again plus you said sorry to him so he is feeling bad at a guess, or something like that
