does my voice change in recordings or is it always the same

Yes it changes - but it depends on what file extension you save it as. For example, if the size extension {lets use MP3 for this example} it will change although very slightly, but the Human ear cannot detect the changes. If the size is low, you can detect the changes especially if it is saved as a .wav file. This is especially common if you use a budget microphone and record your voice in "everyday" surroundings such as your house.

But sometimes, it can also be for the better. If you have an expensive studio, you can sometimes make your voice sound greater and better. This is what many celebrities do. They don't sound as good as they do in real life compared to their songs.

your voice always sounds the same to others. it sounds differently to you because when you speak, you are hearing it from inside your head. in recordings, you hear it from outside your head.

well my voice sounds deep and weird and on my phone recordings, but my boyfriend assures me that isn't how I sound naturally. So I assume not.
