How do you experienced street fighters deal with the so called HeadHunters (fighters that go ONLY for punches in the head and nothing else).

A strickly head punch fighter is easy to fight. There is a zone that he cannot reach, stay in that zone! Depending on the fighter, if you duck, bob and weave he will tire quickly. Let him throw punches for a while and read his openings. I mean that he may jab with his left and try a haymaker(wide swinging punch) with his right. When the right comes around past you step in for his kidneys or his jaw, then back out. Timing is important. Have a friend jab then cross at you find your timing and step in with your left foot and place a controlled punch to his abdomin/kidney area. Body punches tire a fighter. I am a kickboxer/tia/judo fighter. I would head kick to the right ear on a head hunter after thet throw a right haymaker. Trust me if you can slip his punches for just the first minute he will become frustrated and tired. Then he will throw wild punches allowing you to take advantage.

1. Keep out of reach
2. Let him tire
3. Watch for openings, step in punch/kick and step out

I am thinking you are talking about a scheduled street fight. Therefore there should be unspoken rules about groin shots or I would not fight. It would just be assult on your part if there is no rules. Its ok to fight just have some rules and don't beat the guy senseless, help him up when your done and shake his hand. If you take a beating stand up and tell the guy he was the better man. Be smart, show respect, dont talk smack if you win or loose.

A good kick to the groin is a pretty natural counter to head punches, you lean backwards away from the punch and your foot goes forward to his groin, you can also try going for his knees or shins then follow it up with either an uppercut or a hook or both. I once saw someone throw a snap front kick at a guy who was throwing a haymaker at him right in the gut. The toe of his Chuck Taylor shoe bullseyed the guy's solar plexus. Not a pretty sight, the guy who got hit turned pale, then blue and looked like his eyes were gonna pop out of their sockets and he acted as if he was gonna puke but couldn't breathe, kinda like an asthma attack from hell, lucky for him someone grabbed him from behind and applied a heimlich maneuver, weird save I know, but it worked, his face color turned to red then back to normal after he was bounced up and down a couple of times, but he could barely stand up and had to be carried out of there.

First what do know about Attack? Are you good at wrestling,Punching,Kicking, of never fought before? Then you have the option of Just poking there eyes with your fingers! I would do this my self! If it's like rules in a fight why get involved? Slap there punch a little bit to the outside and/or inside then finger jab the eyes! If there faster or are stronger then you! Then the safest thing is to run to them and wrap you arms around them and trip them with your feet and sit on top of them and Punch and elbow him! A good hard elbow or knee strike to there head will KO them! Tackle his legs one or two and throw him hard to the ground and puch him out! There's to much involed in a fight! Look at some Information online to help you out! Like fights at youtube, meta cafe, or wikipedia!

They are always leaning forward, easy to catch them off balance with a kick to the leg(s) and pull them forward. Take them to the ground where it's more difficult to strike your face. If they get on top of you pull their head down to your chest they cannot hit you very well like that. If all else fails you can get face down and do a summer salt forward and grab their leg when you do so. Leg lock, or heel lock and break it.

Good grappling, we'll fight on the ground. Grappling beats striking, clinching beats grappling.

Wrestle a boxer, box a judoka, throw a wrestler.

Learn how to block, and hit them in the head first, with a brick.
