I've heard thru the grapevine that they can make decent money. I'm not sure of the exact amount and it can differ among one's geographic location, but here is a website for general career info: US occupational outlook handbook -- www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search 'trash collector' or 'garbage collector' (or sanitation engineer :)
You may also want to check with your local municipal building and look on their website for any jobs available though they may not necessarily post such jobs. Good luck to you!

Web is so essential nowadays that it becomes a part of your day-to-day routine. You can check out the newspaper, look at your email, upgrade your Facebook status, buy online for Christmas presents, Skype with pals, search on Google and so on but the most important is that you can also get an everyday paid job, a job where you get paid easily with no headache.
