I understand the whole, "opposites attract" phenomenon, but we're completely different. I'm a drama queen and he avoids drama at all costs. I'm anti-religion while he's as religious as can be. I have tons of friends while he's content with one or two. The list goes on and on, but we're always talking to each other and although it sometimes ends in a disagreement, I still feel an attraction to him. So why is he everything I want, when he's nothing that I am? I'm so confused.

thats because you are IN LOVE! and when you are in love, you overlook his flaws and the disagreement that both of you have.

and yes, it is true. love indeed repels the "repulsive forces". however, both of you must have something in common. otherwise you wont be talking to each other right?

Someone else with the exact same qualities may not attract you.

Just be happy that you two have connected and stop looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Who does he remind you of? If you look at your parents and ask, which one did I have that hardest relationship with..does he remind you of THAT parent?

Usually, we're attracted to people who are like the parent we had the roughest time with.
