SULPHATE or Sulfate- The mineral sulphur occurs in foods and in the body in two main forms: as sulphates (salts and esters of sulphuric acid, H2SO4); and in the sulphur amino acids methionine and cysteine. These sulphates are good for skin.

sulphate is the ingredient put in shampoo that makes it lather up. many brands have brought out a shampoo in their range that is sulphate free because people with sensitive skin or skin conditions find that the sulphates irritates their skin. there is a professional range out now, where the whole range including the styling products are sulphate free, because of the high demand for it.

Probably I don't use their product anymore since they started making chocolate.
