i went to the mall yest and each chocolate covered strawberry was 7dollars, isnt that a little bit too pricey for a damn strawberrie!!??

My mom's restaurant sells cheesecake-stuffed, chocolate-dipped strawberries for a dollar each.... so yeah, I'd say that was expensive.

Yep that is expensive but what kind of chocolate where they dipped into. Some chocolate like Hershey's off the shelf isn't to expensive but they might be using some high priced chocolate to dip them into. Each strawberry is hand dipped so that's extra for the labor.

strawberries are seasonal and highly perishable. One has to highgrade strawberries very carefully for being dipped in chocolate and companies pay high fees for quick shipping of fresh fruit and fuel is quite expensive. $7 each sounds a bit too pricey though, better off just buying your own fruit and chocolate and making it the way you want it anyways..and it is so much cheaper

Yeah, You are getting screwed. Go to your local grocery store and buy strawberries and dipping chocolate.They sell it in the Baking aisle at my store. Dip your own....your will probably make about 20 for $7.00.

You see. It is expensive to grow such a chocolate covered strawberies. It has to have special fertilisers and temperature and add the profits of the stealerships.
Solution: eat'em separately.
