Deep Down you miss the bond you had with her and now you dream about her,it is your subconsciousness keeping her attached to you! If you haven't started dating yet I suggest you do .look deep inside and with honesty to yourself make sure you really wanted the relationship to end ! Either way once you address your unresolved issue then you shouldn't dream about her anymore~

Try to convince your mind that it is only a dream. It is not the reality. This is also a case of auto suggestion. You keep believing that you can forget it. You keep believing the world is full of joy and pleasure awaiting your acceptance than this untrue dream. There are other sorts of duties and pleasures more enjoyable than crying for a property or belonging which is not yours. Don't jump to any ill conceived ideas. Leave it to time and concentrate on further personal development. After all life is a sojourn where everybody can not have everybody by their side all the time. Cheer up and take up the journey with renewed vigour and will. Best wishes.

Tht happens, friend ! Break-up doesn't enable one to wipe off the ex entirely from memory.(How happy we all wud hav been, had we been blessed with such a power !) We find ourselves dreaming and thinking abt our ex every once in a while (unless it was just a casual flirting).
If your love was true, you may never be able to get rid of this prblm, but over the years, the pain will gradually diminish and she'll settle as a fond memory in one of the corners of your heart.
Just keep re-inforcing into your mind again and again tht she's gone forever and past is past.Whenever you dream abt her, keep yourself so busy for the next few days so tht you don't get time to even think abt yourself, forget abt her.Slowly, you will come out of this,am sure! Also a new partner will help you in detaching yourself from her memories to a great extent.Good Luck !

According to Dreamcrowd:

It is very common for people to dream about ex-partners. Individuals that have been an important part of our lives continue to take up a part of our mind and heart. It is impossible to very dramatically shut the person out of thoughts and feelings. Just because the relationship ends does not mean that all is finished. As we go through relationships we learn and at times pick up "battle wounds." You will continue to dream about your ex-girlfriend or boyfriend until you "let go" of them on a very important level, or until you learned your lessons from that relationship. Either way, dreaming about your ex-romance does not predict future involvement. It may be wish-fulfillment, reliving memories, or working out old issues. Dreams are very rarely prophetic.

this shows how difficult it was for you to break up with her, you still cannot forget her.
unless you dont get her out of your system completely, her dreams and memories will haunt you. (it will take some time )

ur still in love with her
try to find somebody else, make new friends and dont compare any of them to her, u'll only end up disapponted.
everything happens for a reason, and maybe it was meant to be.
break out of the shell that ur in, u cud be the somebody that someone is waiting for.
