AS salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.
Insha'Allah, according to some of the more recent census reports, there are over 10 million Muslims in the United States of America and the number is increasing daily due to conversion, births and immigration. Alhumdulilah!
Since the horrific events of terrorism perpetuated on September 11, conversions have increased significantly, masha'Allah. Insha'Allah, one of the reasons for the same may be that since that date and those unforgivable events, people have begun to learn about Islam and have learned more than the one sided and biased views put forth by the media of hate in this country in conjunction with the misinformation and propaganda being put out by the government.
At the same time, all other faiths, with the exception of Buddhism, are on a decline in this country which may make the dramatic growth appear even greater than it is.
Insha'Allah, I pray that this trend of education and conversions will continue as this nation truly needs Islam and to have the same practiced in its truest and purest form.

There are quite a few people joining Islam every year, the numbers seem to be different from various people, I have met a few people that have joined, but then again I have also met a few people that have left the religion. I would say that if taken in perspective of Muslims moving into the US, with people in the US joining and people in the US leaving Islam. It is not growing very fast at all.

According to Al-Jazeera, there are 667 Muslims a day in Africa becoming Christian. The thing that says Islam is the fastest growing religion comes from a Reader's Digest article in the 1950's. If you check the demographics of countries, Islam is not the fastest growing religion in any country. Christianity is the only religion in every country in the world and it is not declining, not just adding the numbers the way they use to.

Not many, based on past statistics it's probably about 50,000 a year which is nothing in such a large country (compared to the approximately half of the non-religious who are atheists and who are gaining a lot more each year).
I suspect a lot of the increase is due to immigration and not much from conversion while essentially all of those who lose religion are converts away from religion.
Religion in most western countries (including the US) is shrinking faster than any religion is growing in those countries.

A paltry 20,000 (and that figure comes from proselytizing American Muslims.) That's out of three hundred million!
That's really not that many, and less than the number of people who convert to Catholicism or Paganism in any given year. It may not even be as large as the number of Mormon converts.

Ther eis no count of this .all those who are interested in having mutiple spouses would e taking to it I think as the religons sanctions four wives and as many concubines as one is capable of maintiaining .even int he afer -life allah gies dozens of yung damsels with swelling breasts to have sex for eternity (Vide Sura 78'Al-Nabaof koran). So sex is the primary object there.It is really most irresitable urge for many people in the west .Christinity offers only one spouse in heaven.other religons do not ofer any sexual patners but eracdication of one's self and freedom from the cycles of birth and death ans merger of the slef wih the cosmos to end up as Poojya .Zero.people domt want to end up as zero and many seem to be interested in having sex with a large numbeer of people even as spirits
