I just took 2 anadin ultra (liquid tabs) and i'm wondering how long its gonna take to work?

It depends on your body's unique chemistry. It usually hits me in around 10 minutes. I'd guess it takes anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour in most cases. It's pretty spread out.

Those ones, 10 minutes on me.
Normal Ibuprofen tablets, about 20 - 30.
I find those Gel ones, by Anadin & Neurofen brilliant.

the liquid tabs are supposed to be the quickest way that it is effective. 1/2 hr to an hour i would guess depending on level of pain. my doc advises to take the max doses (3 per day) so that the level is kept constant in your blood that makes it more effective apparently. be careful using ibuprofen tho if ur asthmatic or have stomach problems.

I take ibuprofen for gout and I find it works best if you take it with some food - even if its just a piece of toast and then it needs about 20 minutes to kick in.
Whilst you're taking ibuprofen don't use any indegestion medicine like rennie or bisodol as these stop ibuprofen from working.

My experience says that if want to get rid of headache ibuprofen possibly helps, but it seems to me not very well, that's why I prefer 'analgin', sorry I haven't found the correct word in the dictionary for this medicine, it is stronger than ibuprofen.

It could take from 30 min to 2 hours to kick in, it really depends!!
