2) Long haired Whippet

The long haired whippet is not an AKC recognized variety...in whippets, any coat other than short and smooth is a disqualification. They are not considered "purebred."

Italian Spinone, Silken Windsprite(Silken Windhound) or a LH Whippets, Borzoi(russian wolfhound) and Rough Saluki.. Silken Windhounds and LH Whippets are a mutation of reg. Whippets and/or bred with Borzois and have been bred for many yrs. They can be shown in non AKC rare breed shows..
