Of course it can. Many things can make one feel complete - I say this only because many people over many years have been quoted as saying - of many, many things - "It makes me feel complete". Usually it's another person or a station in life, but it's also not uncommon for it to be a religion. For most religious people, their religion is a very good and beneficial thing. I am not religious, but I think it's a good thing when someone is able to feel "at peace" with themselves and the world, even if it's via something I cannot or do not share. And I do mean at peace with themselves and the world - I don't mean at peace with themselves in the sense that they're going to go out and kill someone in the name of their religion and are looking forward to their heavenly reward. That's not peace, there is no death where peace reigns.

God is changing His children all the time to be more and more like Him.
So stands to reason people who have known God for a long time will be more like Him.
Some of His attributes being - Kind, Compassionate, Fair, Loving, Generous, Not Foolish, Caring, Hating evil, Peaceful, Gentle, Loving and wanting every one to come to know His mercy and Salvation.
I think the world would be a better place if everyone had these Characteristics, don't you?
And it is God who completes us, makes us whole and gives us peace, joy, hope...
Jesus also Promised that He Will Never Leave Our Side and that He sticks closer to us than a brother.
He also says we are His friends.
Yeah, He is Awesome!

As long as the religion is true and the person is not a hypocrite, the religion will benefit the person. But can it make you feel complete? I think only if one finds love with God can one feel complete. Without love, I don't think anyone is complete.

If your religion does not make you a better person, then you are following the wrong religion.
But even more importantly, are you willing to change? A medicine will not help you if you do not take it as prescribed; likewise, a religion will not help you, if you do not follow its advice.
But if you are following the advice and it is still not helping you, then change religions. "In my Father's house there are many mansions." (John 14:2). So find the one that is best for you.

I'm not religious, but I think there's no question that religion has inspired many acts of kindness, bravery, and selflessness in people and continues to do so today. But it isn't the only thing that can do that. People find inspiration in many places. Reading a book that "resonates" with you can make you a better person and give you a feeling of "completeness." Finding a friend with whom you can converse openly and honestly can also do that.

Religion cannot help you. You must come to know your Creator. God, your Heavenly Father. Get a King James Bible, a Strong's Concordance (defines and lists every word in the Bible, but only for the King James Version, KJV, as is commonly referred) and read. Indoctrinated prayers and services will not help you. You must get to know the One True God personally. This is easier than you might imagine, speak to Him as you would your best friend. This is why we were created. God, believe it or not, craves this personal relationship as much as you do.

Yes it does. Before I got saved as a borned again Christian, my life was empty, hopeless, sinful, depressive and an overall mess. But when I gave it all to Jesus he made my life completely new. I am happy, and my life is blessed and fulfilled. I am so thankful that he cared about me enough to reach into the middle of my mess and pull me out with a new start at life. I have more self-confidence, more emotional stability, more loving and kindness, more charitable, more honest with myself and others. God has truly made a wonderful and remarkable change in me, and he can do it for you or anyone else. All you have to do is ask!

Only Pure religion can have this affect. Read the following scripture verse,
James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Religion is second to Truth. First we accept God's Truth, he is known by this name Yeoshua (Jesus). The beginning of wisdom and reverence to God. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all his Truth and you will grow; and the fruit is Pure religion. Remember, God's Truth must superceed our works in faith & Love. The reason, is to glorify God in everything we do. We acknowledge Christ Jesus in us performing his Love Works. Jesus said it best, "when you did unto the least of these you did unto me." We give because he gave his life for us and so we must lay down our lives for the Lord Jesus Christ and his followers... "Pure Religion."

Yes, but that doesn't mean it's good. Drugs can also make you feel complete. Drugs can hurt you or heal you, just like religion.

yes ... since i read about Islam and follow the instructions i change to a very happy person i start to really care about people after i was live a lone not caring about any one but me i was so selfish person and what the strange is people start care a bout me back .
Islam answer all my questions.
My friends and family notice the changes of my behaviors and they are very glad with .
Now i feel peace with my self and with all people even the people who used to heart me .
