I was like this for 7 days. I was a lot of things on my mind: my fathers health and other things. The temperature in New York was very hot also.
What would be the reason why feet would get swollen including the ankles? I tried to put my feet up and that didn't work. Now after most of my worries are gone and the heat is gone too, my feet are not swollen. Why?

You are probably retaining fluids ---if that is the case then drink more water. Also, your electrolytes could be out of balance. The ratio of sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium, calcium, and phospates can become unbalanced and result in swollen feet and ankles. The heat and excessive sweating could contribute to that also. I have a tendency to have swollen ankles and I always try to make sure I'm eating right and drinking enough water to resolve it.

Your feet and anlkes act like thermometers. They're filled with blood, Blood is a liquid, as a liquid warms up it expands, sweeling your feet and ankles. Put your feet in the frig and let the blood condense a bit. LOL, Now that you've fallen for THAT one, Want to buy some real estate in the Everglades? Or can I interest you in buying a Bridge in Brooklyn? LOL

Stress sounds to me but i could be because the tendons in your feet and ankles are stiff which is causing a build up a waste material there on your Muslces
