Payday is always the 1st and 15th, yet we constantly have wives announcing when the pay stubs are online for viewing (they ALWAYS go up about 7 days before payday!). Every two weeks someone announces the stubs are up. What are your opinions?

about as tacky as the wives that are waiting for it drop so they can pull as much as they can out and hit walmart............sounds snippy I know but I swear this women would be at the ATM waiting for it to drop just after midnight.

It would seriously get up my nose, when they would whitter about it, they would say when is pay day "that sort of thing" and I would ask oh mine is Fridays when did YOU get a job then............oh you mean when does YOUR HUSBAND get paid.................ho hum.............now I am owner of the list I do not allow postings about money period.

So many people live paycheck to paycheck these days that it doesn't surprise me that they would want to know when the stubs are on-line. You really can't blame all of it on greed or being tacky, although for some, I'm sure that's the case. For others it may just be a simple case of getting a head start on their budget for the next few weeks.

After living on weekly paychecks for 22 years we were forced to go to bi-monthly about 4 years ago and I still have a little trouble keeping things straight. I'm one of those that figures my budget for the entire year every December, but I wouldn't be too judgmental towards the wives that make the announcements. You never know what their personal financial situations might involve.

not sure why this bothers you. Perhaps there are some that truely wants to know this information they are passing around. No i do not think it is tacky or greedy to pass this information on.
