Ok christians acccording to your bible god created everything and it says "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good". So going by your book, your god created pot too and so therefore it too should be good.
Your god also is supposed to have said-
- "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food".
So does this mean your god said we should smoke/eat pot? Would you think that it be a sin if we didn't?

Hehe, isn't it fun to ask questions like this? So according to the bible, yes, it's okay for people to get high.

Nothing is a sin, in a nutshell, unless there is a sinful purpose behind it.

You make a good point.

Why would you want to eat or smoke pot? When you have a good reason (of which there are many) then you are good to go; there is no sin.

Some people are addicted to food... some, drink... some work... some pot. I know someone who used to use pot for a good reason... within a bona-fide program of spiritual growth.

But you are not "good to go" if it's illegal---although you might be without sin, you may end up in jail!

Ok first of all it reads "And God said behold I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed to you it shall be for meat" second of all it explains in genesis 1it says man had dominion over all the earth and everything in it and if you read further into gen 3 it says that the serpent (the devil) tempted eve to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil after God specifically said not to eat of it, and she gave it to Adam, and since they disobeyed a direct order from God dominion over the earth transferred from adam to the serpent, and since the serpent is all about making your life suck, he is who made drugs and all bad things ever, not God. Dont try to use Gods word to justify using drugs, or blame him for the existance of them because if you actually took the time to read "my book" instead of picking and choosing the verses that are convinient for you you would see that.

I don't think God said we should smoke anything, much less pot. Does pot have fruit seed in it? I don't think it does. Plus, even if it did or does, maybe it wasn't unhealthy at that time. Some plants have what we call "stickers" small, sharp, needle like devices growing on them. Maybe these plants didn't exist back then, or more likely, they didn't develop "stickers" till the fall (sin) of mankind and everything got screwed up.

Of course not.

He said that he had created plants and animals for us as food.
As you SURELY know, some plants are poisonous. Would you eat them?

God also gave us a brain to use when deciding what to eat or drink. No one with a brain would eat or drink something poisonous. He gave us common sense.

Fish is supposedly brain food.

Pot is illegal.

OK? I hope that answered your question.
DO have a good evening.

I think you may have been smoking too much of it, to be honest, but that is your choice.

An excesive amount of anything can be harmful some substances more so than others. God did make everything good yet man/fallen angels corrupted his creation. their is a pluse to evry drug in its origonal form, we are the ones who alter the coca leaf into cocain, and the opiate into heroin, it is not god who did it but ower own lust for knowledge at the beginning.

Pot is very good for joint pain.

1) Smoking does not equal eating
2) God also created grapes but warns against getting drunk and making a fool out of ourselves - I think temperence is in order when it comes to wine, all the moreso with pot
3) Paul says in Romans that we are to obey local authorities. Pot is illegal in the USA so it is de facto off limits to Christians who want to honor God. We must obey all laws - even the speed limit!!

Tell that to some kid who's lost their mother because of a driver high on it. Nice try. God also told us to obey the laws of the land. If that was obeyed...there would be less accident deaths.
God made poison ivy too...would you eat/ingest it?

The only sin I can come up with after reading your question is that committed by your parents that resulted in your birth. Get real. Smoke all the "pot" you want to. But don't look to the Bible and your misunderstanding of Gods' statements to justify your habit. Light up and wooos all the way to Heaven

That verse is an argument for vegetarianism really. As far as the pot thing goes, I struggled with this myself after I became a Christian. After a looong couple months, I figured the stuff we have nowadays is not really "natural" with all the crap they add to it to make it good, therefore not what God intended. Since its illegal to grow my own naturally, I would be unable to partake under His allowance with what I have to work with.

God also created hemlock*.

That aside, I think you should eat/drink/smoke whatever you like, and let other people do (or not do) the same. If they're giving you flak about it, that's their problem, as they're probably causing themselves unneeded anguish over it.
