YOU CAN GLUE THEM TO THESE TEETH, BUT SINCE THEY THEMSELVES ARE PART OF THE BRIDGE THEY WON'T MOVE, THE OTHER TEETH AROUND THEM WIL.

I'm a dentist.

Technically, yes. Orthodontic brackets can be bonded to porcelain. Admittedly, I don't know much about the process--including the risk of damaging the porcelain beneath.

The other dentist (who posted above me) is partially correct. True, two teeth splinted together with a bridge are far more of a form of anchorage than the individual teeth themselves. Moving them orthodontically, however, without causing an appreciable movement of the teeth around them would depend on a few things (other than the doctor's plan for moving your teeth):

1. that the bridge is in the anterior region of your mouth. A bridge that is any more posterior than, say, a canine and a second premolar would be patently unsuitable for orthodontic movement.

2. the bridge is merely a three-unit bridge with two supporting teeth. Any longer of a span and any more supporting teeth, and it'd be likewise unsuitable.

3. Peridontally sound adjacent teeth.

That's beside the point, though. A better question is why you'd want to move a bridge? It would almost certainly be much easier (and much less costly) to have the bridge replaced with one that has the teeth positioned in a better location--for superior cosmetics or superior function--or both--depending on what it is you seek.

HELLO, IF THE BRIDGE IS IN IDEAL POSITION, ALL THE REMAINING TEETH CAN BE MOVED TO MATCH IT. THIS IS EXPECIALLY TRUE IF YOU'RE MISSING ONE OR TWO FRONT TEETH.
