I would ask for a good life. I mean, i had one. But it was cut short. And now, it's a bit depressing. IF it wasnt for tv, and answers, and the Lord, I don't know what I'd do. But I do hope that I'll have a good life. I only ask this because I thought I already paid for ignoring the Father, but maybe I haVen't. I don't know. But that''s what I really want. I want to go back to the previous city I lived and live out a happy, healthy life. Because there, I'd haVe independance. It's not gonna be easy, but for the Lord, anything's possible.

First of all I will ask the Lord for providing His remembrance thourghout the life that keep us away from sins. I will also ask the Lord to make us worship the Lord only and to seek his help only, to lead me to the Right Path which is the path the righteous who have been Blessed by the Lord, to make the people throughout the world happy and peace loving, to forgive the sins of others, to shower his Blessings on all human beings and all His creations to abide by the commandments of the Lord, to increase the knowledge and for strength to propagate the good and forbid the vices. I will personally ask for knowledge that the beneficial to me and the world, the deeds which are acceptable to the Lord, worldly provisions which are from pure sources and for long life rendered to His service.

The Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) used to ask the Lord: Bestow me life of the poor, death as a poor and to rise me alongwith the poor on the Day of Judgment

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.

18 He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God.

I would ask to be able to follow the commandment Christ shared as being the most important one, and to be able to follow it completely. Namely: To love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. I always fall short of the last part, and maybe I fall short of the rest in ways I don't see. It's hard to love me unconditionally, I know all the things I think and do wrong. Practice, practice, practice. I guess. idk.

Blessed Be

Could you please refrain from deceiving the people?

Is there any evidence that Baal and Lord are equivalent?
Baal is a Canaanite-Phoenician word that means "master" or "lord". (Harper's Bible Dictionary, Miller) There were many baals or lords of different names. Baal worship was worship in high places where people brought taxes to the pagan deities. Baal-gad means the lord of fortune. (Josh. 11:17) Baal-hamon means the lord of riches. (Song of Solomon 8:11) Other references can be found in II Samuel 13:23, I Chronicles 5:23, Joshua 15:9, II Samuyl 5:20, II Kings 4:42-44, Judges 20:33, and Numbers 33:7. One of the most talked about baals is baal-peor which means lord of opening which was probably Chemosh, a Moabite deity. (Number 25:3, 5; Deuteronomy 4:3; Psalm 106:28; Hoseyah 9:10)

The reason that we refrain from using lord is because it was used in place of the sacred name Yahweh in many translations of the scriptures. With spoken word "lord" you cannot tell the difference between the uppercase lord and the lowercase lord. This doesn't allow for any distinction. As we can see baal and lord refer to a lot of different deities. It is interesting that baal is pronounced the same in all languages while Yahweh was replaced with lord. Lord and baal are interchangeable in meaning. Yahweh is not replaceable. There are a few prophecies that refer to the satanic replacement that has happened. Lets look at Jeremiah 23:

How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal (lord). (Yeremiah 23:26-27)

Yahweh does not sanction the replacement of His name with a title. In the commandments we find that we are to have no other Mighty Ones before or in replacement of Yahweh. (Exodus 20:3) Yahweh says not to make graven images of anything in heaven above of in the earth beneath. (Exodus 20:4) This is to keep us from worshipping tangible objects. This would draw our worship away from Yahweh. Yahweh says that we are not to take his name in vain. (Exodus 20:7) Vain means to bring it to nothing. We bring Yahweh's name to nothing by replacing it or by not giving Yahweh the respect that He deserves. Yahweh commands to be called by His name. Baal and lord have the same meaning. Using either of these titles to replace the sacred name breaks the greatest commandment. The love of Yahweh is first and foremost.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise Yahweh, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto Yahweh; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Yisrayl in the midst of thee. (Isayah 12:4-6)

A problematic question. To sort out priorities between physical and eternal takes a life time. At that particular moment what strikes in our mind, we do not know. Swamy Vivekananda prayed Kalimatha for material bliss. When she appeared, he immersed in Ecstasy and implored her to bless him with salvation.

I ask for his mercy and love everyday. To bless me and my family according to his will. To help me to grow in faith, virtue, and knowledge of his word. To help lead others to Christ, To make me a strong woman in him, and to make my faith known to others so they may see and believe. I love the Lord, I also thank him when I pray. He has done so many wonderful things for me, I am truly blessed.
