So I currently own a 5 month old bichon shih tzu. heres a pic:

and for halloween I was planning on her being a bumble bee. So i would make a black cone to go around her tail as the stinger and then I would buy a yellow baby shirt and paint stripes on it with blue wings. Do you think that sounds cute? If not do you have any suggestions instead?

we got one for our pit last year it cost about $5.00, with the wings, the head gear everything..............

if you REALLY want to make it then yes of course it sound cute, but watch what you put around her tail area as it can get in the way when peeing etc........plus it really seems to bother them [well it does mine]

regards

Check out www.petedge.com. They have some of the cutest costumes & very inexpensive (& yes, a bumble bee). I dress mine (all 6) up for halloween every year & take them to the nursing home. The dogs love the extra attention & the people at the home get a charge out of them. I dressed up my chow last year as a hula dancer (I used kid sized costumes for her as most dog ones are too small), the toy poodle pups as his & her navy, their mom was a witch, the shelti mix as a ladybug & the yorkie/schnauzer as a purple butterfly.
Have fun & enjoy dressing up your baby!

First of all, your dogs adorable. The bumble bee idea sounds great but if you change your mind here are some suggestions
-A princess with a tiara and gown to fit her size
-fairy

Oh... My... Gosh...

JCraven12's suggested site was great! I laughed for 20 mins while looking through http://www.Wiggle-n-Waggle.com & Those costumes are great. Haha. I think you should dress your dog up as the Bunny if your dog is a girl or the crocodile if your dog is a boy!

Also, don't listen to the people who say not to dress your dog up. I have dressed my Maltese up since she was a few months old and she loves it!

Your dog is adorable!

Wiggle-n-Waggle.com has a HUGE selection of dog costumes there. I purchased their bee dog costume last year: http://www.wiggle-n-waggle.com/servlet/the-202/Bee-Dog-Costume/Detail

They are based in the US, but ship internationally at no additional charge.

I haven't decided what I'm going to dress my dog up as this year, but they have many to choose from here:

I love the Lady Bug, Bunny, and Crocodile. If nothing else, you could sure get some great ideas there!

Good luck!

hahah/ glad i am not the only one...
this year my neighbor gave me a hand me down skunk costume for my 2 yr old.. and i will be taking the black lab with us.. so i thought i would go to the beauty supply and get the white hairspray and spray a white stripe down her back..

don't freak people, this stuff is safe for kids, and is water soluble, otherwise i wouldnt do it]]]]]]]

so i will have two skunks this year...and it will make the dog easier to see, because at night, if you dont hear her tags clinking then you cant see her at all...lol...

Your just down right mean, poor dog will be embarrassed if any of the other dogs see her, Gee Mom please don't make her look goofy.
