Regardless of your relgious beliefs or lack of ie Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, aithest, etc etc You will go into the spirit world when you die.
As much as this painful truth annoys relgious nuts that think their beliefs and rituals are the only ones with exclusive rights.

I am of the opinion (and I believe there's biblical and philosophical support) that someone who does not call themself a christian can still get into heaven. That is if they follow the true God (whoever he may be) in some capacity on this earth. Most likely by their mere actions and beliefs.
If I were God, I'd let people in for being good, but how good? Where's the cut off point? If it's like 69 percent good won't I feel guilty for cutting out the 68 percenters? What if they were brought up in poor circumstances and had to overcome more than the next person? Shouldn't I take that into consideration? Should I grade on curve?
You know what? I'll just give EVERYONE the opportunity to get into heaven. They don't necessarily have to BE that good, but as long as they've made a commitment to live a good life, I'll accept their application. Y'know, kind of like how the christian god does it?

I believe that it doesn't matter what religion u follow. It doesn't even matter if u believe in God or not. I refuse to believe that my friends who don't believe in God won't go to heaven for that reason alone. You don't have to believe in Jesus to act like Jesus. I think that all it takes is to be an overall good person, even if u were once not such a "good person." If you turn your life around and truly sorry for the things you did, then you also deserve to go to heaven too.

Define "good". People (myself included) are very easily deceived and swayed by outward appearance - thinking that certain selfless and well-meaining acts or "positive" behavior makes a person "good." However, God sees into the heart.
Romans 3:10 states "As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one." Why is this? Because "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Bottom line, we have a tendency to deceive even our own selves about our own motives (Jeremiah 17:9). Speaking for myself, when I seek God on my innermost motives behind certain actions I do or words I speak, very often my motives are still inherently self-seeking (though hidden at times). Thank God that it is Jesus Christ who justifies me before my Creator and not me!

What about those who never even heard of Christianity?
Since I was raised a Catholic, I still remember some of the things taught to me, some I still agree with, some I don't. But I do remember being told that doctrinally, Catholics believe that you need not necessarily be a Catholic to enter heaven.

Nope. Here is the reason. God is perfect and none of us can get near Him because we are unclean, sinful. The only way to be purified is through Christ's blood. This washes away the sin. God loves everyone and that's why He provided a way into heaven. But He can't choose all of us to believe. We have to make that decision. If you are not cleansed, it will not be possible to be in the presence of perfection.

There is only one condition for admittance into heaven and Jesus made it quite clear when He said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me."
It isn't up to us, it's up to Jesus.

The only way to Heaven is through Jesus. As far as the second question goes, I am NOT God so it would be inappropriate for me to answer that.

Jesus said, "One can enter the kingdom in heaven thru me". The essence of Jesus establishing His church is to create a new man, He as the head, the body the church and death won't prevail against it. Meaning the second death come judgment day, those in Jesus body, the church will be saved.
