Yes. You are his lawful dependent. The base medical facility will provide the needed immunizations. But, give that facility's immunization clinic a ring first. You might need an appointment.

Going for a visit or going to live? As an unsponsored dependent in South Korea you're "entitled" to nothing. Treatment is strictly "space available." You won't get a ration card for the commissary or BX.

Check with the CDC for any requirements and get what you need from your local public health department. I'd certainly get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B.

If you are going unsponsored then you will get nothing, they wont recognize you as even being a spouse. You will not get medical, housing or any type of support. I do NOT recommend moving to a forgein country without sponsorship. It can be a dangerous situation. If you have children they will have to go to a Korean speaking school. All expenses will come out of your pocket. My husband has been in the Army 14 years and we just got orders to Korea, but his orders include command sponsorship and is a 3 year tour. I know you miss your husband but see if he can get you sponsorship, dont go without it.

You should get all the shots you need BEFORE you go to Korea... we were in Germany the children and I both got the shots we needed before we left, A country like Korea id want to get them before you get there.

Good luck!!!

I would assume you could get them on base. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.
