FIRST OF ALL YOU CANT ASK GOD TO FORGIVE YOU IF YOU KILL YOURSELF.JUST THINK THERES A CHILD OUT THERE WHO HAS NO FATHER, THERES PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO HAS NO FAMILY , THERES OLD PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN NURSEING HOMES WHO NEVER HAS COMPANY, OR A CHILD WHO NEVER HAS A MOTHER ARMS TO HOLD OR HUG THEM,OR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS A FRIEND TO TALK TO. AND THERES SO MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE WAITING ON YOU AND YES THERES SOMEONES DAD AND MOM AND FAMILY WHO NEEDS SOMEONE TO TALK TO BECAUSE NOW THEY CANT EAT , SLEEP BECAUSE THEIR CHILD COMMITED SUICIDE AND THEY ARE SO TORN APART THEIR LIFES ARE MESSED UP BECAUSE THEY COULDNT HELP THEM. AND THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACE LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVED AGED YEARS THEY MISS THEM SO MUCH, AND GOD WONDERS WHY THEY DIDNT COME TO HIM, HE WAS WAITING. GOD SAID KNOCK AND HE WILL OPEN, ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE HIM, SO PLEASE BEFORE YOU REALLY DECIDE YOUR GOING TO KILL YOURSELF THINK OF THESE PEOPLE WHO COULD USE YOU IN THEIR LIFES AND THINK OF YOUR FAMILIES.

im not unlearned, it says to repent of your sins daily, if you commit suicide, how are you going to repent of your sins , murder is a sin after you kill someone you can repent , but if you kill yourself you cant repent , your prist needs to read the holy bible. and so do you.

I lost my love to suicide, nearly lost my own life to it. And, you have some wonderful things to think about. However, people who commit suicide are ill. A healthy mind will not suicide. For this reason, people who are suicidal need professional help. Mental illness is not something that can just be pushed aside when someone is so ill they see no other way out. And as for your thoughts on asking God to forgive you, you have no clue if that's true or not. I had a long talk with my priest after losing my boyfriend about this, I disagree with your statement. That would be like saying God wouldn't forgive someone who is ill with another disease and they committed a sin. Nice thoughts, but a bit uneducated. I've lived through it on both sides, it's more than just a "think abou this" attitude needed when dealing with a suicidal person.

Most of the time, people don't attempt suicide to kill themselves, but rather get attention for problems they feel they can't solve themselves. This is why many people overdose on pills rather than shoot themselves- it would be easier for someone to intervene and save them.
It sometimes stems from a chemical imbalance, resulting in depression, and sometimes this leads to suicidal thoughts.
And the bible is fake. But I'm just saying that because I'm an avid athiest.

I just saw a dvd this week...about suicide. It was called "Purgatory House". It was written by a 14 yr. old girl. It was pretty good...but fiction. But I think the girl who wrote it was trying to do the same thing you're trying to do....make people change their minds about suicide. The thing is...in a couple of hours your question won't be on the front page anymore.....and the next person will need someone to help them. That's why we "keep on keepin' on". Thanks for your effort ! Just stay on here and try to help whoever you can....like the rest of us try to do. (at least most of us)

Considering other peoples misfortunes never made me feel any better off and never made me feel lucky. And thinking of others misfortunes doesnt help me deal with the deep issues that I have. But I can appreciate what you are trying to do.
