it doesnt make you lose weight it simply aids in digestion. drinking something warm/hot makes your body think that you are eating food so it gets your intestines and organs moving a bit faster, thus, helping speed up digestion and increase metabolism which helps contribute to weight loss in the long run

4 weeks ago I started drinking hot tea's of all kinds (no sugar or milk). I got addicted, two cups at night turned into all day long, when no tea is available, I choose hot water. I have lost over 10 pounds in a month and still gowing strong, I never liked tea or hot water! but I crave it now.

Drinking warm water or cold with a slice of lemon in it helps detoxify the body thereby reducing body fluid. It also tastes good, gives a feeling of fullness so your body doesn't crave food as much. Do not add sweetener. The cold water with slice of lemon is a great thirst quencher.

Drinking water is better than drinking beverages with calories, and unless you are overheated, ice water will actually cause you to burn a calorie or two, because your body will generate heat to maintain body temperature.

Hot water may actually cause you to burn a calorie or two less than warm water. Your body naturally burns a few hundred calories a day just to stay warm.

No--just the opposite. It takes more calories for your body to digest a very cold glass of water than it takes to digest a cup of hot water.

No. Try ice cold water. It helps to burn a few calories because your body has to work to heat it up.
But you arent going to lose weight just drinking water.
Exercise is key.
