Tell me how to "turn" this girl into my girlfriend?

Hello fellow yahoo answerers!
Recently I have started to attend college. This particular girl sits next to me in one of my classes. The first day I cracked a few jokes, second day talked more, third day talked a lot. On the third day we actually went and hung out for a few hours just the two of us. We seemed to enjoy each others company and want to hang out at a later date.

I have really started to like her. She is drop dead gorgeous, 2 years older then me (a plus at my young age), and single!

My questions are..
Of course .. how do I make this girl my girlfriend?
How do I make my intentions clear and make sure she doesn't just see me as a friend?

Rather than trying to turn her into your girlfriend, ask her on a date. Only in movies do people fall into each other's arms and live happily ever after without dating first.

ask her. be up front. Tell her how much you enjoy spending time with her. but dont hide it, that childish. See if she feels the same way. if not then say, forget i ever said anything, your such an awsome friend, lets just keep it that way.
