Because I'll be "damned" if we don't do something about the control religion is continually seeking of our social lives and politics. So basically they want to run our lives, they want their religious symbols in our public buildings, their "morals"(if you can call it that) in our courts, they want religion recognized in our schools, and they want to continue to discriminate against us, seriously public figures in both government and entertainment openly announce their bigotry against atheists, whether they say we should not be presidents or that they even don't think of us as citizens.

This should be alarming, but you Christians like to paint yourselves the martyr. Well here is big news, YOU CAN'T BE A MARTYR IF YOU ARE IN FAVOR WITH THE VAST MAJORITY!

Atheists don't always ***** about christianity. I know I don't. What I do ***** about, however, is when the theists (whatever religion they may be, it doesn't really matter) start preaching to me and telling how I'm wrong and am going to hell etc etc etc. Other than that, I don't really care what you believe or what religion you are. As long as you don't push your beliefs on me, we'll be fine.

Unfortunately too many Christians have adopted a
"Holier than thou" attitude and despite what they've been taught, they think it's their right to pass judgment on those who don't believe exactly what they believe.
They even judge people who aren't atheist, people devout in religions they don't understand.
Not to mention the right-wing variety that show up to court houses prosecuting offenders for hate crimes against gay and lesbian victims (victims who have sometimes been killed, tortured or both) with signs that say "GOD HATES FAGS" (although I realize these may be the minority, they still represent you. (all Christians)
So maybe if we could just be kind to others, treat people as we would like to be treated and leave the judging up to GOD (&/or the Deity of your choice) the world would be a better place. ;)

Well, a lot of them constantly complain and hate Christianity because they had a bad experience in the past with Christianity. None of these atheists really understand evolutionary theory, and are just bigoted liberals. I don't like to refer to them as atheists, but, rather just plain idiots. They give a bad name to real atheists who not only understand their theory, but take the time to study other religious theory.

Don't assume that all atheists are that stupid, although most are.

Actually many people have given up Christianity due to the arguments put forth by atheists. I'm sure no one gives it up right there on the spot, but they hear scientific theories and start getting mixed up. Most atheists are not bad people but they are misled and they (possibly unintentionally) mislead others.

Because we do not believe that all Christians are utterly selfish and deaf to reason. Mainly, we'd just like our neighbors of faith to think about the policies they encourage their elected officials to enact and recognize that theirs is not the only viewpoint that should be considered. Hell, most of us are just asking Christians to give to others the same consideration they demand for themselves.

It's amusing, that Christians think, that a normal Intelligent person (Atheist), gives a rats a... about their faith.

The same reason why Christians ***** about atheism.

They both like to hear themselves speak, or this case what they type.
