dont do it every day - body needs at least one day a week for rest to recover and repair itself.
weight training 2-3 times a week.

I would say get a full body lift routine in, that lasts no longer than 1 hour, 3 times a week. Make sure you take one day of rest in between lifting days. Example:
Mon-Cardio
Tues-Cardio+lift
Wed-Cardio
Thurs-Cardio+lift
Frid-Cardio
Sat-Cardio+lift
Sun-Rest

Also, take an extra day off between lifting if you feel really sore. Make sure you eat enough protein and drink a lot of water too.
