I have heard that it is not good to run the day before you are running in a half-marathon...is this true? If it is true, can I still do some other sort of cardio/exercise? I would like to exercise the day before, maybe some sort of bike exercise, elliptical machine or jump roping?

Someone recently ran 50 marathons in 50 days in 50 states. It is possible to do that, but if this is your first I wouldn't. You can certainly stretch, and to help stay loose you could walk. If you decide you want to go for a run--just do it.

It is absolutely OK to do some exercise the day before the half-marathon.

I have finished the AFC 1/2 Marathon on 8/19. I ran 3 miles entertainment run the day before. Entertainment run means non-race pace in a scenic route with MP3 music I like. A relax run that makes me feel great/happy the whole day. To me, it serves like a warm up to my body for next day race. It also makes me sleep well the night before the race. It makes me totally ready for next day.

You've given no indication as to your level of fitness so it's hard to give you a good answer. If this is a half just to warm up for a marathon next week, advice would be different than if this is your first half.

Walk a mile or 2, lots of easy stretching, memorize your splits, and save the rest of your energy for tomorrow.

Good Luck

You usually want to taper down for a half and a marathon.
I do not like to do nothing.
So I warm up and run 1 to 2 miles, stretch and do a few strides.
That is all.
I feel better is I go through the normal warm up routine, and if I do not do anything I feel sluggish.

Can you end up to me that judgement day may be very close? Can you end up to me that accepting Islam is to any extent further rewarding than accepting any of the opposite countless numbers of religions in the market? Please, exhibit me the proof.
