The M203 is a grenade launcher. Take out a tank? Get serious. Maybe if the grenade fell into an open hatch and took out the crew, or fell into an open exhaust outlet and messed up the engine.

When I was in the ARMY and we would go to the M203 range we used old 60 series tanks to shoot at.These tanks were really in rough shape but they probly have been hit hundreds of times with all types of gernades. You probly would be able to disable the tank by getting a good hit to the track but I dont think you could do any more damage than that.Im sure after you did that they would be really mad and hit you with there heavy guns.

Even with an HEAP round the 37mm,the M-203 is way too small, to take out a tank, let alone damage it severely. The M-203 was designed primarily as an anti-personnel weapon to take out troops in the open, machine gun nests and gun positions in building windows and doorways. It also had a longer range than a soldier could throw a hand grenade. They also made Fletchette,White Phosphorus,CS/CN Gas rounds for the M203.

Armed and dangerous, that is exactly what I was going to say. We shot all day at those old tanks and it was neat how they RANG like a bell when we hit them but mostly we just knocked the dust off them rather than damage them much.
So the answer would be NO

You might damage the track at best or give the occupants a headache from ringing that tank like a bell.
But I feel all you are going to due is p1ss off a tank crew, and get shot or run over by a tank.
There are better antitank weapons.
I going to bet on the tank.
