CB Antennae goes to the "ANT IN" socket on the back of the CB unit.
Microphone goes to the "MIC" socket on the front of the CB unit.
Provide power (12 V DC for portable / AC for desktop) to CB unit.
Optional: External speaker if you have one and the CB unit is equipped for it.
No license is required. Amateur radio operators require a license but CB does not.

You need a 27 meter loaded antennae.
Don't try and send or receive broadcast
unless your CB is hooked up to this type
of antennae. If you do, you will blow out
the "finals" in the radio.
You will need to plug your radio into
your cigarette lighter, or another 12 volt
source.
You will need to attach a hand mike to
your radio.
Good luck.

They usually run off a car battery. I can't remember if they are wired directly into a particular wire harness or if they plug into the cigarette lighter spot. Then you need an antennae. Legally, you are supposed to register with the FCC

All you need is a 12V power source, and a ground wire. Then get a magnetic base antenna and plug it in.
10-4 good buddy and you are on line.
