This is a mailing list where all the experienced coilers share their knowledge. You can read through past archives for all sorts of information and ask current coilers anything. I am not sure if the tesla-2 mailing list is still active, but it was another list for new builders.

There are some good demos on YouTube under Tesla.
But beware, they can be very dangerous to fool around.

Nuts and Volts magazine should have interesting information for you, as would American Scientific magazine.
