How do you deal with little brats?

Question

Ok so i get mad really easy and my 6 years old brother keep annoying me like open my room door and wont close it and keep doing it again.I just want to punch them but my uncle will get mad at me and i know i will look like an idiot so what can i do?

Thanks for the answers.I play game with them like mario kart and they team up to own me and when i lose they laugh and tease me and i just want to punch them real hard in the face but i dont want to get kick out of the house

Your little brother wants attention... period. You can try playing some board game with him, or teaching him to play baseball... just to tire him out. A little time wisely invested in this way is pure gold.

I would also suggest a trip to the hardware store to buy a keyed locking doorknob for your bedroom door. It does not take much to change out the doorknobs. You wear the key on a chain around your neck and keep your room locked at all times. This is your territory.

This one little thing helped me get through my teens... my sister would steal my clothes and often ruined them. My brother was a dope-fiend and would steal anything.

Talk to your uncle, let him know the situation and that at least one time you need to get the kid to understand he can't do that and you want to take one shot at "scaring" him out of doing it, so you have an opportunity to let the kid know in NO uncertain terms that this is unnacceptable. The key is sort of getting permission to get serious with the kid for the purpose of solving the problem, with your uncle also knowing that you are attempting this, so that he doesn't just think it's a couple of kids fighting.
