Hahaha you found one! Well you could try websites or check newspapers... it all depends on what you want. If you want like a sphinx, that might be hard and costly, however if you want a breed like Persian, it might not be so hard.

A good tip is to go through the breed clubs for the breed you are interested in. Breeders who are active within the clubs are usually the better ones.

Go to TICA.org. The International Cat Assoc. website. They have a listing of breeders for most breeds. Also Cat Fancy mag has listings.

The veterinary offices would probalby know about them, as will the animal shelters. You can give them a call and ask. If you're looking for a specific breed, check with the online breed rescues for your state.
