Contact Best Friends in Utah, www.bestfriends.org they are a no kill shelter and help people all the time. Even if you don't live in or near Utah they can help and give suggestions. They have a huge network and they get the job done. They are the ones that headed up the pet rescue after Katrina, they have gone to Afghanistan and rescued dogs and are currently in Peru helping with the pet rescue after the earthquake. They may honestly be able to help or make a suggestion. They have a wonderful website, it is definitely worth the time to see the amazing work they do.

I am an animal lover and your question makes me sad for you. Here are my thoughts -
Talk to your vet and see if you can make payments or explain the situation and try to work something out.
How old is your dog? If she is on the older side, maybe it is best to put her down so she doesn't have to suffer.
Try and get a second opinion on the cost.
Sell some stuff on eBay to raise money.
I would do anything for my animals and if I had a young animal who I knew could recover easily from the surgery I wouldn't give up until the end. Good luck to you.

if you have good enough credit, try for carecredit, at carecredit.com, or ask that someone you know with good credit get it. generally you can get 0 interest for like a year, than you have time to pay it off and you don't have to lose your baby girl! if that is not possible, i agree that you should call as many vets as possible even if they are a little out of the way and ask them if they can work out a payment plan with you. I'm sure there will be SOMEONE who will help you, because generally the really kind hearted vets don't want to put an animal to sleep just because u don't have the money this second! good luck!

*Sniff*...that's so sad. Well, you can work out a payment plan, like you can pay a little each week/month instead of paying in full. Or you could, like, help the vet with some work (cleaning, etc) to pay for the surgery

OK..it'll take some work on your part but here's what you do.I bet it will work.Get in the phone book and call every vet you come across, just tell them what you just told us.I bet this will work.It did for my friend when he wanted his dental done.Good job on him to.Anyways..my point.Honesty and humbleness does wonders.Don't for get to thank him and to not let you have expectations. The decision will be from him.
GOD bless and good luck.

Good breeders will give a refund or pay for the surgery. or, you can call an attorney to sue the person for selling an unwell pup. I am soooo sorry for you.

You didn't give us much to go on did you? I assume you have contacted whomever you obtained her from to let them know what is going on. Because of her breed, I'm going to assume this is a back issue???? If so, I hope you had enough financial wherewithal to at least get her out of pain? Did whomever you obtained her from offer any support????

Put the dog down. Bladder stones are usually reoccurring. It is very painful for the dog.

usually vets dont need you to pay up-front and immediately. ask if you can pay in installments every few weeks or months or something until you can pay it off. lots of vets understand and allow you to do so. its very sad that you have to put down your pup when you've had it for only a month. please try what i suggested. i hope it works
