Probably there is something in the air that sets off your body's reaction, even if it has never happened before. Dust could cause this, or pet dandruff, or chemicals in the area. But the essence of allergies is that they can occur at any time. As a matter of fact, you can't have an allergy to something you've never encountered. Your body must recognize the particle, and then react to it.
All allergies are a result of your immune system reacting too strongly to something, and sadly, they don't go away.
My advice is to find some common antihistamine like Loratidine 10mg, or Benadryl 25mg, and see if that helps.

Sounds like you are allergic to something. Could be hay fever, changing washing detergents for your clothes, or dust mites in your bed.
Start eliminating things e.g. vacumn your bed, be aware of dry windy days if there is a lot of pollen in the air. Try taking hayfever tablets for a few days to see if it helps. Do you have a new cat or pet?
Could be anything, if nothing else works see the doc.
