You're a teenager, or a young adult, if you want to be more formal. Some people will still refer to you as a kid however, no matter how annoying it can be! Some may also call you a man. Really, it's the person's personal preference, and your maturity level. It's perfectly fine for you to do 'kid stuff!' My parents still do 'kid stuff!' There's nothing wrong with it. The good thing about being your age, is that you can go either way because you're in the middle. If you want to act silly and be a kid, you can. If you want to be grown up, and be mature, you can! It's up to you!

You are a a boy on his way to being a man. It sure is OK to do kid things and that is what you are supposed to do. At this age though, you are expected to act appropriately, No longer can you get away with not saying please and thank you. You should know how to conduct yourself in public places, including school. How to speak and introduce yourself.
I know that you are somewhat stuck between a boy and man right now, but as you mature it will all fall into place. I bet most people your age feel the same way. I admire that your feel comfortable asking this question.
Now go have some fun, playing basketball or another sport, hanging out with friends at home or the mall.
Good luck to you. I know that you will do well.

Okay it doesn't matter if people label you a boy or a man. Don't act a certain way just to make people accept you. Just be yourself. I'd say you're a teen. Some teens are really mature and some are not. Even guys who are 30 and are labeled a "man" aren't, mentally they're still boys. As time passes you'll experience different things and learn from your mistakes. Being a man means being mature, honest, and knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing right. There are very few "men" in the world, i hope you become one.

In definition you are not a "man" till you turn 18, that is when the teenage years end and you become an adult. With that said, you are only 16. There is no need for you to grow up to fast. If there are still "kid" things you like to do, do them! Who is anyone to say that even at the age of 40 you cant do "kid" things. There is no reason that along with enjoying being young, you cant be mature, and "grown up". You are never to yount to act responsable and making smart decisions. Just remember to be who you are, and don't let anyone make you act diffentley. You need to set your individuallity. Just remember to stay safe and smart while doing it. I hope this helps some

To me you're a boy because I'm 51 years old. Technically, you're a teenager. You'll probably be getting your drivers license soon which means it's time to grow up and start acting like an adult.

I have a brother who's in his 40's. He is married and soon to become a father and he is a successful engineer in the pharmeceutical business. He still does what most people might consider to be 'kid stuff' like he plays some kind of interactive game on his computer against friends and he has one of those remote controlled cars that he races.

I guess what I'm saying is you can always be a kid at heart AND a responsible man. : )

I think it'd be okay to still act like a kid and a man at the same time. In certain situations, you can be grown up and mature and do manly things, and in other situations I think you can have fun and immature and be a kid.
I'm a 25 year old female and I think its fun and youthful to act like a younger girl sometimes and just have fun.
There is nothing wrong with doing something fun, even if others considered for younger people

hey cody...you're lucky. you're right in the middle somewhere! you are definitely a young man, a teen. but you can still feel free to just have fun and act like a kid too! in a few years you'll officially be an adult with a lot more responsibilities. so enjoy being young! act like a young man when you need to....but make sure you don't miss out on havin fun and just "being a kid" while you still can!

You are a "young man". If you want to be a kid, all you have to do is do kid stuff & people w/consider you still a kid. You are on your way to maturity. How you mold your life today, w/result in what kind of a man you turn out to be. Be respectable, polite, mannerly, act like a decent human being & that's what you w/turn out to be. Act like a fool, no respect, no manners, impolite, you w/grow up like a complete person no one even cares to be around. This age is the age to start thinking of how you want your life to turn out. You are a young man, not a kid...
