Because he denied it, it must have meant something, so you were right to be upset.

If he was just being nice, and didn't mean anything by it, then you could have gone easier on him.

Good call.

I think you were probably right to be a little miffed, but you might have taken it a bit too far. A wink isn't representative of anything...it doesn't mean he's cheating, or wants to and it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you. It means he winked. As women we're always looking for an underlying meaning in men's behavior because so often there is underlying meaning in our own behavior. But the truth is, with guys sometimes a wink is just a wink.

That being said, it clearly bothers you and you have a right to express that feeling. Instead, next time, it might be better if you say calmly a little while after the fact, "You know, it really bothers me when you do x,y, or z when you're with me." It's a way of being honest and straightforward without seeming totally emotional, plus he's more likely to take you serious instead of think that you overreacted.

You could have talked to him about it politly then drop it, but you souldnt have yelled at him though since it was only a wink. I would say that your sorry to be honest and try not to get so jelous.

WRONG!

Jesus, girl. If winking is going to give you a heart ache what's going to happen when he really does flirt? And sweetie, all people flirt, whether they admit it or not.
