Our little 'heathen furballs' will ALWAYS come running at the 'rattle' of the 'Pounce' kitty treat can!
So. . . . . try 'baiting' yours! THEN keep the dryer door CLOSED!

I'm assuming you mean from BEHIND the dryer with the inner motor and all...
Don't use the dryer till he's out of the area and can be accounted for. Then use boxes to block off the back, or carefully pull the dryer forward (but don't disattach the hose to the outside when you do this!!!!) and cut cardboard to duct tape the open section closed. Then push back the dryer to the original place and DO check it before you use the dryer just in case he does pry this open again.
Be cautious about the washing machine too, they get inside the machine from the back on some models.

i know this sounds awful but remember this was about 4 am and didn't do this on purpose i got up to turn on the dryer cuz i forgot to turn it on before i went to bed the door was open and i shut it not thinking there was anything but clothes in it so i turn it on and go back to bed no sooner than i got to bed i started hearing a thump in the dryer like a shoe or something so i went out to the dryer and opened the door and my cat misty was in there so i picked her up and loved her for about a half hour moral of the story is always check the dryer before you turn it on and always shut the door before you leave so my accident does not happen to any other animal

squirt bottle. when you notice it going into the dryer, make sure it knows it isnt allowed to do that. but dont hurt it!!! o hitting! then it just wont trust you. another thought, always keep it closed, and always double check and kjnow where your cat is when you do laundry. good luck

Omg, enough with the cat killing part.
this is what you do:
1: Try picking it up.
2:get some cat biscuites and shake them
3: Well, you can just wait for it to go out of it
4: just dont turn it on (-.-)

Open the door and scoop the kitty out.
If you don't want the kitty napping on your clean laundry, then keep the door closed when you're not using it.

You reach in there and get him/her out! Make sure that you always keep the door shut so you don't accidently turn it on with him in there.
