Would like to buy a new vehicle without the hassel of dealing with competing sales people and dealerships that want to deliver sting as well as burn.

Buying a new vehicle should be an enjoyable experience. They should throw out the red carpet and really try to please. Instead, they try to soak you for every dime they can get. Here you are buying a brand new vehicle with dealer warranty and they want you to buy all that other maintenance crap which you don't want which will raise your payments up and beyond and a myriad of other crap you don't want. They totally ruin the fun and joy and insult your intelligence to rub salt into the wound. They are the greediest most ungrateful bunch of people and are only thinking about how to serve themselves and not the customer. Where can one get online and find the car they want and purchase without all the hassels of dealing with the dysfunctional situation at the dealerships in their area? Enough already. Sick to death with dealerships!

After 30 years in the business having answers thousand of questions in various forums your question really made me smile, much you say is very true, and love your line - sting and burn. lol...good one.

With the tools at hand today get your best new price quote on the Internet - sure I know they want you to leave a phone # and start their game plan - but its really simple , there is also an area for comments where you simply say, no phone calls just price, I really could write a novel on the subject.

Many dealerships have websites that offer special deals and streamline the purchase process if you order online. You sacrifice the services that a salesman gives you - test drives and custom orders and such. You can even order from a distant dealer, if you're willing to make a long drive to pick up a vehicle sight unseen.

I suggest you just go to a dealer and get it over with. You should do this only once every 7-10 years, so just do it.

Always be okay with walking away from the whole thing. They will keep working with you. Research what a fair price would be and don't be afraid to ask for a lot less. Be ready when you get into financing to haggle all over again. They will try to ignore the deal you and the salesman worked out. They will keep trying to add more to the price. Don't tell them about any money down until the end when you are in financing. Just keep telling them you won't pay more than $??? Always get the GAP insurance.

Naturally, I'll tell you about Fords. Just go to ford website and click on find a dealer. Then they will show you the closest one, and then you can spec out your car. Or you can also spec out your car and then have Ford find the car you want.
About the only way to get around the hassles is to have a set price going in. I myself, have the "A" plan so there is no negotiating. They may try to add different dealer installed options, but I tell them to either take them off, or give it to me, because I am not paying for it. They will also try for the extended warranty, again a simple NO, and that's all.

I do not think that's possible. Just go to other dealers. And you can always say NO.
