The "Omen" because the anti-christ will be a normal man with two parents who is a leader (our president, I believe) of the revived Roman Empire-10 countries, 5 strong, 5 weak (partial coalition, I believe) who rescues Israel from the 200 million man army (Muslims, I believe) at the Valley of Megiddo (armegeddon) in northern Israel. Two thirds of the world is dead, though-one third instantly and another third due to famine and plagues (nuclear war and radiation poisoning, I believe). He is a good world leader for three and a half years but then the spirit of Satan enters him and he wants worldwide worship of himself for the next three and a half years. He ultimately turns on Israel and Jesus Christ comes back to defeat him at His Second Coming. Christians are resurrected and there is 1,000 years of peace on this Earth before a new Heaven and Earth are created-Revelations, chapter 21). But, he isn't born the anti-christ like the "Omen" or "Rosemary's Baby." I thought the "Passion of the Christ" and the "Exorcist" were right on.

I thought I saw all three of those but, try as I might, I cannot recall The Omen, so either I did not see it or was not impressed much by it. I do distinctly remember The Exorcist and I don't like it because it really plays up the power of demons and plays down the power of Christians, but it certainly is a well made movie. I'm not one to be bothered much about movies. I know some Christians believe the only appropriate movies are the ones that glorify God, but movies are no different than any other part of life and God never said we should live in a monastery at the top of a mountain and separate ourselves from the world.

The Omen - Great flick...scared the pants off me in that scene with the Rottweilers in the cemetery!!! Whoa!!!

The Exorcist - Stood in line 4 hours to see it in 1975. It's a bit dated now...but it sure was cool when I was 18!!

The Passion - Great movie...a little gory, and I found myself picking on the Latin pronunciation...but still - I'll never walk "Stations of the Cross" the same way ever again!!

Religions impose things to their followers, and forbid things. This is acceptable, as long as following a religion is a personal and free choice. But only islamic extremists want to impose their restrictions on others. Sure, there are extremists and do not represent the majority of islam. But where is the islamic condemnation of this bounty? Why aren't the decent, law abiding, respectful muslim not speaking up against this oppression ?

Fundies probably hate the first two, most of us Christians think the first two are pretty good (the Exorcist is a classic, and Gregory Peck saves an otherwise ho-hum Omen), but The Passion was overdone, it was big-budget snuff flick.

I loved the Passion, I don't really believe in Omens so I will have to say that one. I do know that people canbe posessed by the devil, I have seen it. Although that movie I would not watch again. Read the Bible, the book of John and the book of Romans.

in the order you listed them they go from definately wrong to doctrinaly wrong to not quite exactly the way the bible says it. I sometimes even promote the passion, I think the Exorcist was sick, but at least God ultimately got the victory over the unclean spirit... and Omen... well that's just common sense

I would wonder why the Exorcist would be condemned, it deals with defeating the Devil (or whatever) Dunno 'bout the Omen...as for the Passion, don't you think that the movie is just...over-playing Jesus' death for two hours...I wonder why the Church would actually LIKE something that has so much gore and screaming that it made some people actually go into MENTAL BREAKDOWNS!!! (I saw in an article that it happened) What's the deal?

the passion (being the best) the exorcist and then the omen were movies just to entertain. although someone could be possessed by demons.

"the passion" was a great movie because it actually shows (the violence) of what Jesus had to go through to get to the cross.

All three are equal in their appeal to me.... though I have only watched The Passion clear through... I have seen enough of the other two that I now I am glad I did not waste my time with them as I did with The Passion
