Hey! My brother and I were fixing up our house today [while our parents were gone] and we got some latex paint on the molding!!

What should I do?
Should I wait for it to dry then wipe it off?

I know that water would be a bad idea because it'd just get rubbed into the wood.

Any suggestions?,

Really? Water???
The water isn't working and the paint is drying fast!

I might have to let it dry.

And if it does dry all the way, could I just put some alcohol on it or something? Some kind of alcohol?

Warm soapy water.

Really!

Latex paint is water based, so that's the best way to dissolve it. Soap will help, and you won't need a lot. Don't worry about water hurting the molding, it has probably been varnished.
