i'm guessing in the 3:30-3:35 range. for those of you who don't know, the WR is 3:43 right now.

In my lifetime I think it will go below 3:30, but not by a lot.

I read an article several years ago where scientists were proclaiming the human limits on different race distances. I don't remember them, but I am sure they had the mile faster then your 3:30. Of course scientists used to say it was humanly impossible to run a 4:00 mile, so they don't have a real good track record. pun intended.

Records are there to be broken its just a natural progression. I remember them building a time line for seeing what they thought would happen by the year 2000 on what records would be like and even then they weren't even close. I can't really predict what the time would be but I would say with the long list of talent constantly popping up a sub 3.30 is possible.

I dont know but I have an uncanny feeling that someone will go 3:15, a phenom in the making.

Lower three thirties or upper three twenties.
