I think you are right, we can't have music styles that constently chasing the world. We should draw the world to us not us to them.

The Bible says to be "in the world, but not of it."

I don't see how that means that a Christian should only listen to Christian music. Many of the bands I listen to have allusions to religion, especially Christianity, even if the bands themselves are not Christian.

Some Christians listen to only Christian music, and I see nothing wrong with this.

However, I enjoy ALL kinds of music, from metal to classical to opera, to jazz, R&B, alternative, and even some country and rap. And yes, I also listen to Christian music.
